The Vision
House Show was born from a simple realization: the best live music happens up close, in rooms where every person is there to listen. In stadiums and noisy bars, the connection between artist and audience is often lost to the spectacle or the crowd. We're leading a living room revolution—stripping away the stage, the velvet ropes, and the friction of hosting to bring music back to its most human scale.
We've built a platform that removes the barriers to entry, allowing anyone with a space and a love for music to become a curator of culture. By connecting talented musicians directly with dedicated hosts, we create magical, one-of-a-kind evenings that a traditional venue simply cannot replicate.
Our Journey
House Show is the vision of our founder, Bruce Brainerd—an entrepreneur and hospitality veteran who saw firsthand how live music can transform a room. It started in his own home, where hosting musicians revealed the power of intimate gatherings. Seeing the profound connection that happened when the music was only a few feet away, Bruce realized this wasn't just a concert; it was a return to the cultural importance of the shared living room.
Today, House Show is in its pre-launch phase, building the community that will redefine live music. We are officially launching our first curated series in Palm Springs over Labor Day Weekend 2026. This is just the beginning: Palm Springs first. Everywhere next. We're inviting you to join our beta program and help shape the platform before our official debut.
