- Host Responsibility: You are responsible for maintaining appropriate homeowner's or renter's insurance and confirming it covers paid events at your property.
- Host Protection Plan: Every show is backed by our supplemental Host Protection Plan, which provides secondary coverage after your primary insurance.
- Guest Verification: Use our app to verify ticket holders at the door with QR code scanning.
- Direct Support: The Doorman is available 24/7 on every page, plus email support during show hours.
2For Musicians
- Verified Hosts: All hosts complete identity verification and submit photos of their performance space.
- Secure Payments: Guaranteed payouts via Stripe — no cash handling, no chasing payments.
- Community Standards: All members agree to our code of conduct and are subject to community reviews.
- 24/7 Support: Help is always available through The Doorman or email support.
3For Guests
- Address Privacy: Exact location is revealed only after ticket purchase.
- Digital Ticketing: Secure QR code validation ensures only ticket holders attend.
- Community Ratings: See feedback and ratings from previous show attendees.
- Host Standards: Every host completes a safety questionnaire and agrees to our code of conduct.
Host Protection Plan
Every show on House Show is backed by our supplemental Host Protection Plan. This plan provides secondary liability coverage that activates after your primary homeowner's or renter's insurance. Hosts are required to maintain their own insurance and confirm it covers paid events at their property. We recommend all hosts consult with their insurance provider and consider an umbrella policy for additional peace of mind. Optional per-event coverage will be available for hosts who want extra protection for a specific show.
