Make the room remember you.
A practical guide for artists creating a specific HouseShow with care, clarity, and genuine connection.
Artists First, by design
HouseShow is a marketplace for intimate live music experiences. Verified artists and hosts create independent HouseShows, then guests choose one show at a time. Build a profile that tells the right host who you are, complete the required verification, and look for a match in room, audience, sound, schedule, and expectations.
In an intimate room, the audience came to listen. Shape a set for the space, use storytelling selectively, respect agreed timing and volume, and leave room for the host to welcome guests and close the evening.

Before the first note
Arrive at the agreed time, introduce your full party, keep cables and exits safe, soundcheck before guests when possible, and confirm water, restrooms, prep space, and the run of show. A thoughtful host should offer clear arrival information, a reasonably ready performance area, calm professionalism, and room to meet guests afterward.
HouseShow is designed and promoted as non-alcoholic. Do not include alcohol in a rider or promotion. Tell the host about dietary or access needs early.
Protect the experience
- • Promote the official event link, never a competing checkout.
- • Never publish a private residential address without authorization.
- • Keep merchandise compact, clearly priced, and artist-controlled.
- • Respect house rules, private areas, neighbors, and agreed quiet hours.
- • Report meaningful safety, harassment, property, or guest issues promptly.

Does HouseShow provide insurance?
No. HouseShow provides guidance and resources, not platform insurance or individualized advice. Ask your own insurance professional about private paid events.
